STEM Teacher

My professional background includes more than 10 years of experience working at the preschool level. I then spent a year teaching kindergarten and first grade before making the exciting transition to middle school. I taught science for five years and now teach STEM using Project Lead The Way (PLTW), which I absolutely love! The program is incredibly hands-on, and I hope your student enjoys learning through it as much as I enjoy teaching it.

For the 2026–2027 school year, I was incredibly honored to be selected from approximately 200 teachers across the United States to participate in a two-week professional development program with the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. Only 30 teachers nationwide were selected! I’m still amazed to have been given this opportunity, and I’m especially excited to return in the summer of 2027 to continue learning and growing through the program.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is bringing everything I learn about technology, STEM, and education back into the classroom and sharing it with my students.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, sewing, and watching Chinese dramas. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year and hope to meet you all soon!
